Touchplay in the Cornfields… more money then you think

Bevington, a small town with a population of 60 people, is located just south of Des Moines. It has a Kum And Go convenience store, one restaurant and six TouchPlay machines — making it in all likelihood the town with the most TouchPlay machines per capita.

It’s also gives an indication of the kind of money the machines generate.

More than $200,000 have been spent at TouchPlay machines in Bevington, including $34,000 at the town’s only restaurant — which just received their machines in January. [KCCI]

Just think of all the money these people are saving by not having to travel all the way to a casino in order to gamble on real slot machines. Instead they can stay within the comfort of city limits and play the six Touchplay machines. They’ve probably conserved at least 34,000 worth of gasoline alone!
