Calling all Citizens of Chocolate Town

Your mayor wants everyone to come back and vote for him in the next election. If you no longer live in New Orleans and are not planning to come back please vote via absentee ballot.

HOUSTON (Reuters) - In a sign of the times for his storm-stricken city, New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin campaigned for re-election on Saturday — in Houston. Nagin is one of 23 candidates in one of the more unusual mayoral elections in U.S. history because most of the voters now live in other cities.

I’m guessing that Nagin finally realized that all of his supporters left for higher ground. (excuse the unfortunate pun)
